  1. Founder-‘Gramunnati.net’, a Social Enterprise. We focus on Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) at village/cluster level. To implement EDP i am deploying a network of CoRE(s)-Coumunity Resource Entrepreneurs. CoRE(s) are from villages of Maharashtra with existing enterprises, skilled for giving business advisory services & trainers & mentor for rural budding enterprises.   2. State Anchor for a national NGO- The Goat Trust (TGT). Special focus for partnership development for promoting ‘Goat Breeding cum Marketing Center (GBMC)’, model incubated by TGT.
  3. Freelance Consultant- Working on multiple, multi-segment assignments related to Rural Communities of India.

Brief experience of last 19 years (between 2000 to 2022)

I am working in rural development sector in areas of livelihoods enhancement, skilling and employment generation of rural poor. Have worked in all geographical areas with communities- women, youth and farmers. Worked for Governance & on disaster management. Implemented CSR projects in areas of farming, skill development and employment creation. Worked on anthropological aspects of Coastal ecosystem and dry land agriculture. My five years experience involves business development of Domestic Renewable energy products through sales and marking in rural markets.

I have gained experience in senior management / strategic positions in

1 Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM)- I worked as Mission Manager Livelihoods Non-farm, anchoring and mentoring programs/interventions focused on Entrepreneurship, Producer groups, Start-ups and its scale-up targeted towards women families from Self Help Group

  1. SwissAid- a international Funding agency providing funds to NGO’s/CBO’s. As a project Officer supported and monitored four NGO’s. Projects related to Forest based Livelihoods in Vidharbha region of Maharashtra. Enterprise promotion for single/vulnerable women, domestic violence victims from Marathwada Region of Maharashtra.

 

Awards

#have won the 1st runner-up prize for writing a case study on Sustainable Community based Non Farm Enterprises viz ‘Community Livestock Business Center’s’ of Goat rearing families.
